COMPETITORS TOOK HOME OVER $137,000 IN CASH
ALONE! The
results are in and all our hard work paid off BIG. In 2007
we are proud to announce that competitors took home cash prizes
in excess of $137,000. These statistics are based on our core
classes: Open, Senior & Youth Barrels. It’s thanks
to all our generous sponsors and show hosts who provided over
$48,775 total added money in 2007. Our show hosts received
just short of $10,000 in retained funds for all their hard
work! Across Ontario we watched just about 5,000 Barrel runs
in 2007. Now that’s a lot of tub turning!!! For our
competitors their efforts were rewarded with year end awards
in excess of $20,000. Awards featured items like Saddles,
Buckles, Jackets, Vests, Blankets, Halters and more.
