Joe Fondas Request - aka "Mooney"
It is with very heavy hearts we are putting this horse on the market. This horse was born to run barrels. He is a registered 2002 son of "A Joe Tee Lad" and " Harlans Last Request", the grandson of the great "Joe Tee" which are futurity, derby and sweepstake money earners. Mooney won the 2008 1st in the 3D open barrels at our NBHA Finals in Waterford Ontario, he still obtains a wildcard for the World Championships to be used at anytime.
This gelding stands 15.3 and is black with 4 white pasterns and a white moon on his forehead, he has the most kindest eye, is gentle, quiet and most of all he is very well mannered and respectful of his handler. Because of his size he does better competing in larger pens and running chute if possible, he runs every run with all his heart and is always willing to jump on the trailer and go down the road no matter what. He travels very well. He sits right down when he turns a barrel like you could not ask any better for. He was only owned by one other person a young lady from Pennsylvania who travelled extensively throughout the USA to barrel competitions and was very sucessful with him, she also hauled him to Congress as well. We have not travelled as much with him but we are building a new home and our future plans do not include horses at this time, Mooney has become a member of this family and we truly want a good home who will love him and promote his talent. 11 year old quarter horse for sale.
